You don't need me to to tell you that stress can translate into weight gain! Chances ore you are not eating
too much because studies show that people who carry more fat don't necessarily, as a group, eat more than thinner
people
Successful slimmers learn that weight is a symptom, not the cause of their pain. They have learnt that if you don't
know who you are and what you want or you are unhappy with yourself, or you believe that losing weight is the answer
to all your problems, the weight will come back!

How, you feel about yourself dictates how you respond to life. Your self appearance reflects your self-esteem
and your self-esteem reflects your appearance.
REMEMBER
- Eating too little may cause a weight gaining "rebound effect".
- Please don't eat less just to compensate for overeating - this is a bad idea.
- There may be many good nutrition tips but let's get the mind into gear first, not the reverse as may have been
your past history.
The same mind that caused you to to produce and perpetuate fat - making habits is the same mind that can heal -
your mind!
The answers are within and I'm helping you to discover them. The power of imaging and

than will power.
The two key words to overeating or binge eating are "emotional hunger" resulting from conditions happening
or that have happened in life.
Many successfully overcome that need to binge.
Weight reduction is a complicated matter and most people would agree with me - each client is treated as an individual.
I like to see clients for several visits and naturally we work on acceptance of the present status quo, to understand
the 4 essentials in life - acceptance, approval, recognition and self confidence. It one or more is missing we
work on these needs.
As time progresses we learn to let the excess baggage mobilize in its way and the essentials of life style come
into it with motivation for exercise, correcting any food intake errors and even challenging some previously held
beliefs. The most common belief here is that so many tell me they know all about the foods that are good for them.
It is really more individual than just the low calorie, low fat diets.
At times I discuss the person's blood group - eat
accordingly for your type, where people are open to this
type of thinking.
Rather than fad dieting it is more about listening to the body and self-assessing the necessary foods that become
the fuel for every spark plug in the body.

If someone tends to fall asleep while experiencing this "journey of the mind" then I suggest them to
adopt a slightly uncomfortable position.
The messages filter into the subconscious mind in a deeply relaxed hypnotic (altered mind, day dreamy state) and
usually best when not too physically tired. There may be some absorption in delta or sleep state but therapy requires
a theta brain wave state. This is lower than alpha (just floating/drifting) but don't concern yourself
too much with that.
It really means uncritical concentration, not doing anything much, just allowing images to happen naturally and
accepting any good messages, thoughts, symbols that appear for you and not
analyzing them. Just let it happen for
you.
I tell clients there is no right or wrong - almost everyone responds well to deep relaxation - your experience
is your experience and differs from anyone else.
